Building a successful Cyber Security Operations Center

There have been countless discussions on the technical aspects of one platform or security system but this presentation will shift the attention onto some of the practical aspects of building a global Cyber Security Operations Center that brings value for the company’s investment. Having all the current security platforms plugged in and all the bells and whistles purchased, an attack against the company may still be unstoppable without a well-trained team of security specialists to man the battle stations. Outsourcing part of the effort to globally located teams is a cost effective way of ensuring the company’s security. Integrating various specialties spread among different teams in the CSOC with the customer’s existing IT services department as well as providing uninterrupted core security services to the client brings the level of added value that companies search for when deciding to build or fortify an Enterprise grade security team.
