Mr. Veselin Boyadzhiev is Project Manager in the most recognizable cybercrime non-governmental organization, established at the end of 2009 by leading experts in the field of fighting cybercrime. Born in 1987 he graduated Sofia University in 2010. He has many years international and multi-cultural experience in business and finance and in particular in international financial environment with a focus of providing strategic guidance and delivering financial and product (market) solutions for all commercial processes to the business and stakeholders. Having the background of working in one of the biggest financial institutions in Europe, he is familiar with the challenges the business is facing with the increasing and ever presenting cyber threats.
ICITA focuses its activities in four areas – trainings, prevention, conferences and consultancy. The goal of the academy is to improve the qualification of the experts, working in the field of cyber security and combating cybercrime, to increase the society awareness of the latest threats and risks by organizing conferences, forums, meetings, discussions and to provide reliable consultancy. The overall goal is to help create a secure and safe technology and Internet environment for the whole society.
Public-private partnership for effective cyber space
The presentation will address the importance of developing good and working public-private partnerships on national and regional level trough cooperation between law enforcement agencies, business, academy structures and non-governmental organizations for cybercrime detection and prevention.
