Cybercrime 2.0. The hidden economy
The hidden economy is generating ever more capital to finance the future cybercrime. The cryptocurrencies make such a beautiful vehicle for proliferating cybercrime activities. We will try to expose some of the trends and figures, even statistics (looking into different sources that surveyed the DarkNet) in order to prepare for the next wave/ generation of attacks. The game is definitely upping. We believe it is an important exercise – to know and to understand the financing mechanism behind, in order to be able to tackle the finished product: a new ransomware flavor, a new kind of attack, the demand and the offer for different tools/identities/crymeware/drugs/etc. It’s all in there.
