4D Security – A new approach to security
As business environment is evolving, the security mindset is shifting as the assets are already on someone else’s network and IT is no longer the only driver of IT. In the same time, the Threat landscape will continue to evolve, rendering the need to consider Internal threats (compromised, malicious or accidental) along with the external ones. Together with these aspects, the security market becomes unsustainable, by means of increased complexity and the skills shortage in the industry.
After last year acquisition of Websense by Raytheon and the later acquisition of Stonesoft / Sidewinder division from Intel the company was rebranded as Forcepoint and has defined the new approach to security – 4D security – Defense / Detect / Decide / Defeat, being built on four pillars: Cloud First, Unified Platform, Security Intelligence and Advanced Analytics.
Coming from the merger of three leading companies, Forcepoint’s DNA consists of proven building blocks that help us achieve this vision.
